Bachelor Of Technology (B.Tech) in Civil Engineering

Admission Procedure

Candidates qualifying (10+2) Examination with minimum aggregate of 45% marks and 45 % marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) in Higher Secondary or equivalent Examination are eligible.Candidate must have valid rank in  West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination or JEE (MAIN) Examination.

Admission through Lateral Entry Scheme shall be made strictly on the basis of merit and the preference of candidates in the Common Entrance Examination for admission through Lateral Entry Scheme (i.e. JELET) conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board. Candidates must complete Pass Diploma Examination from an AICTE approved institution with at least 45% marks (40% in case of reserved category students) in appropriate branch of Engineering /Technology or passed B.Sc. Degree from a recognised University as defined by UGC with at least 45% marks (40% in case of reserved category students) and passed XII standard with Mathematics as a subject.

POSTGRADUATE PROGRAMMES

M.Tech in Power Systems (EE)

Duration 2 Years

Admission Procedure

Candidates completing BE / B.Tech / AMIE in Electrical Engineering from recognised University are eligible to apply. Candidates with valid GATE / PGET score will be given preference.

Else an Admission process will be conducted including a written examination followed by an interview. The syllabus of the written test will be as per GATE / PGET syllabus.

M.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering

Duration 2 Years

Admission Procedure

Candidate completing BE / B.Tech in CSE / IT/ ECE / ECTE / ET / EE or equivalent or M.Sc. in Physics / Mathematics / Information Science or MCA (with B.Sc. or BCA) are eligible to apply.

Candidates with valid GATE / PGET score will be given preference

Else an Admission process will be conducted including a written examination followed by an interview. The syllabus of the written test will be as per GATE / PGET syllabus.

MBA

Duration 2 Years

Admission Procedure

Graduates completing degree course in (10 + 2 + 3) system or (10+2+4) system in any discipline from UGC recognized University can apply.Valid MAT / CMAT / WBJEMAT score is required.Candidates with work experience will get preference. Candidates will be selected through GD & PI.

Candidates with minimum aggregate of 35% marks and 35 % marks in Physical Science and Mathematics with English in Madhyamik or equivalent examination can apply.

Candidates who completed class X and qualify in JEXPO under West Bengal State Council of Technical and Vocational Education and Skill Development (WBSCTVESD) are eligible for admission.

Candidates who Passed Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) under Vocational Training or 2 years ITI course (with appropriate technology) and qualified in VOCLET under West Bengal State Council of Vocational Training (WBSCVT) are eligible for admission in the 2nd year of diploma course under Lateral Entry Scheme
