Eligibility
Applicants to the JGLS LL.M. programme must have a Bachelor’s degree in Law from any university in India or abroad that is duly recognised under the law and by the regulatory authorities.
Students graduating by July can also apply, however they need to submit their final degree certificate/mark sheet at the time of admission.
Admission Procedure
Admission to the LL.M. programme shall be based on the performance of one of the following entrance examinations (70% weightage):

- LSAT-India Entrance Test
Ph.D.

Candidates completing LLM with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade are eligible to apply. Professional qualification such as CA/ ICWA/ CFA/ CS (both 5 year integrated or 3 years after graduation) with minimum 55% marks will also be considered.
Candidates with Master’s degree in a discipline relevant to the proposed research with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade can apply. Applicants with more than 3 years industry/ teaching/ practicing/ managerial/ professional experience will be given preference.
Relaxation of 5% of marks, from 55% to 50%, or an equivalent relaxation of grade, may be allowed for those belonging to SC/ST/Differently-Abled categories or for those who had obtained their Master’s degree prior to 19th September, 1991. The eligibility marks of 55% (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) and the relaxation of 5% to the categories mentioned above are permissible based only on the qualifying marks without including the grace mark procedures.
