Candidates completing (10+2) Examination in Science with minimum average score 60% in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics, and valid rank in WBJEE are eligible to apply.

M.Tech in Radio Physics  & Electronics

• i) Microwave and Space Science
• ii) Nanoelectronics & Photonics

Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE)

Candidates completing

• BTech degree in Radio Physics & Electronics of C.U
• BTech degree in Information Technology of C.U. only
• BTech./B.E. in Electronics & Communication /Telecommunication Engg. from any recognized University.
• BSc. degree in Electronics Science with valid GATE qualified score in EC for both C.U. & Non C.U..
• BSc. degree in Physics (with advanced papers in Electronics) of the University of Calcutta and B.Sc. with Hons. in Physics & Mathematics as a general subjects with valid GATE qualified score in EC for both C.U. & Non C.U..
• A degree from any other University / Institution equivalent to (i) above are eligible to apply.

Non-CU applicants should have the following eligibility criteria:

• Secured at least 60% marks or its equivalent grade in B.Tech level;
• A valid GATE qualified score in relevant subject (Electronics and Communication).

Except C.U. current year students who have passed / appeared final B.Tech. examination in Radiophysics & Electronics and Information Technology students, all candidates must appear through Entrance Test followed by Interview. GATE qualified valid score is not mandatory for CU B.Tech. students.

M.Tech. course in VLSI DESIGN 

Admission Procedure

Candidates completing

(i)B.Tech. degree in Radio Physics and Electronics of C.U.

(ii) B.Tech / BE degree in Electronics & Communication / Telecommunication Engg. From a regognised University / Institute

(iii) B.Tech. degree in Information Technology of CU

(iv) B.Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering of CU

(v) M.Sc. degree in Electronics Science with valid GATE qualified score in EC/CS for both C.U. & Non C.U..

(vi) A degree equivalent to (i), OR (iv) from any University/Institute recognized by the University of Calcutta are eligible to apply.

Non-CU applicants should have the following eligibility criteria:

• Secured at least 60% marks or its equivalent grade in B.Tech level;
• A valid GATE qualified score in relevant subjects {Electronics & Communication (EC) and Computer Science CS)}.

Except C.U. current year B.Tech. in Radiophysics & Electronics and Information Technology, All have to go through Entrance Test followed by Interview. GATE qualified valid score is not mandatory for CU B.Tech. students.

For Non-C.U. candidates, at least 60% marks or its equivalent grade in last qualifying examination is required. Except C.U. current year B.Tech. in Radiophysics & Electronics and Information Technology. All candidates must appear Entrance Test followed by Interview.
