Introduction

NETAJI SUBHAS CHANDRA BOSE INSTITUTE OF PHARMACY (NSCBIP) is a Pharmacy Institute in Eastern India and is promoted by MODERN TECHNOLOGY AND PARAMEDICAL SOCIETY (MTPS). MTPS was established on 13th July 1999, under the Societies Registration Act, Govt. of West Bengal with few like minded persons in an around Chakdaha. Our society is deeply rooted in social economical values with the motive for welfare of people.

The first initiative of this Society is the establishment of NSCBIP in the rural Bengal in Nadia district to make skilled Pharmacy graduates those can serve Indian Pharmaceutical Industries and Healthcare system. The institute first started its journey with 4 years B.Pharm. course in the year 2004. At that time only one Government Pharmacy Institute and two Private Pharmacy Institutes were present in West Bengal. The first batch of B.Pharm. students were passed in the year 2008. In the next 4 years three courses of M.Pharm. were started in three specializations.
The institute is aproved by Govt. of WB, AICTE, New Delhi, PCI, New Delhi and affiliated to MAKAUT University, WB.

Mission

To continuously strive for creating a centre for excellence for the overall development of young minds by educating them in the state – of – art technologies, which would stress upon the body, mind and indwelling sprit, maintaining spiritual values.
