About CIPTAHS
Born in the year 2002, nurtured for all 10 years, today the Institute has a sprawling with excellent learning environment, set in picturesquea lush green surroundings near Mumbai – Kolkata National Highway (NH-6) in the township of Uluberia, about 30kms from the District Headquarters, Howrah & 34 kms from Kolkata. It has got a good communication with Kolkata city, which is an added advantage to get in regular touch with academic & scientific Institution in kolkata to facilitate growth & development of the Institution. The founder of the institutions had a clear vision and a well defined mission to build an institution to provide vigorous, high quality and relevant education in India so that the students community would have an alternative to education in a foreign country. The institute is 2 kms away from Uluberia Rly. Station (S. E. Rly), where daily local EMU service is available from Howrah & Kharagpur. Daily bus service is also available from Kolkata & various other distant parts of the District, & the State.

- Library
Calcutta Institute of Pharmaceutical Technology and Allied Health Sciences has a library with a cast collection of 54487 volume of books incorporating 2071 book titles, 115 national journals, 9 international journals, magazines, periodicals, audio videos, CD ROMs, research publication and STM e-journals. The library is well equipped with spacious reading room and wifi facility. The students can visit the library catalog for various subjects through LIBSYS online service available in the library and can place their library books’ requisition through the online system too. Book bank facility is also available in the library.

Calcutta Institute of Pharmaceutical Technology and Allied Health Sciences has a spacious, well furnished canteen with hygienic drinking water facility with a capacity of more than 100 pupils. The canteen serves quality lunch, tea, coffee, snacks, cold drinks and many more eatables at reasonable cost.

Calcutta Institute of Pharmaceutical Technology and Allied Health Sciences has separate hostel facility for boys and girls. Boys hostel in located in the campus and a separate ragging free girls hostel is also there within 1 km from the campus. Both the hostels incorporate furniture, electricity with generator back up, sufficient water and many more facilities. Every hostel is monitored under a round the clock warden.
