Established in 2018 with a view to provide job oriented professional courses in Pharmacy, Global College of Pharmaceutical Technology, Krishnagar offers B.Pharm. Programme during 2018-19 academic session. The college is affiliated to the Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad University of Technology, Kolkata(Formerly known as WBUT, Kolkata) and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi and recognized by Govt. of West Bengal. B.Pharm :
The B. Pharm Degree course is a four year program follows a semester pattern (under PCI regulations). Selection is based on the marks secured in plus two. Candidates qualified in the Diploma in Pharmacy examination conducted by the Government of West Bengal or any other Board of any other State recognized as equivalent there to by the authority of this University. It is a versatile interdisciplinary program preparing graduates with a sound knowledge and understanding of the science, technology, and practice of pharmacy.
DURATION OF COURSE
Four academic years (8 Semesters) for normal students.
Three academic years (6 semesters) for lateral entry students.
ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION
The applicant must be citizen of India and should have passed the Higher Secondary H.S. (10+2) or its equivalent examination from a recognized Board/ Council.
Candidates must have passed ‘10+2’ examination with Physics and Chemistry along with any one of Mathematics/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Computer Science/ Computer Application as compulsory subjects with individual pass marks (in both theory and practical wherever applicable).
Must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category).
The Board of the said Qualifying Examination must be recognized by the Central Government or State Government.
Candidate will have to qualify at the WBJEE or JEE (Mains) on the year of admission.
ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION (LATERAL ENTRY)
Admission through lateral entry to the 2nd Year (3rd Semester level) of the Undergraduate degree course offered by Government/ Private Pharmacy college of the state of West Bengal during the Academic Session 2019-2020 is open to candidates who are:

D.Pharm :
The Diploma in Pharmacy program is popularly known as D Pharm in India. D.Pharmacy is a two years course with main goal is to educate and train the students for practicing pharmacy. This is the minimum qualification to get registered as a pharmacist in India.

This course is of two academic years (Non-Semester)
ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION
Minimum qualification for admission to Diploma in Pharmacy Part-I course -A pass in any of the following examinations with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics.
Intermediate examination in Science;
The first year of the three year degree course in Science,
Pre–degree examination;
Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examination.
The Board of the said Qualifying Examination must be recognized by the Central Government or State Government.
Candidate should qualify JEXPO 2020.
No upper age limit Diploma holder in Pharmacy.
