CAT 2025 

Common Admission Test 2025 (CAT 2025) is a computer-based Test. CAT 2025 will be conducted by IIM Lucknow as a prerequisite for admission to various management programmes of IIMs. CAT 2025 score will be conducted by IIMs as a prerequisite for admission to various management programmes of IIMs.

 Full Form of Cat – Common Admission Test  

CAT 2025 : EXAM DATE 

CAT EXAM 2025 is scheduled on Sunday, November 30, 2025, in three sessions.CAT 2025 Applicants will be given a choice on Test City Centre while doing CAT 2025 Registration.

CAT 2025 TEST CENTRES 

CAT 2025 will be conducted in centres spread across around   170 test cities .  Test cities will be mentioned in the CAT registration window and the name of the test centre will be indicated in the Admit Card.

CAT 2025 ELIGIBILITY

The applicant must complete a Bachelor’s Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA  in any stream any University or educational institution as incorporated by an Act of Parliament or

State legislature in India or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognised by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.

However for applicants belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) category, Scheduled Tribe (ST) category and Persons with Disability (PwD) the graduation marks cut off has been lowered to 45% .

Candidates appearing for the final year of Bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply for CAT 2025. However, provisional admission may be granted to them only upon submission of certificate from the Principal/Registrar of their University/Institution stating that applicant  has completed all the requirements for obtaining the Bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification on the date of the issue of the certificate. IIMs may verify eligibility at various stages of the selection process.

CAT 2025 REGISTRATION FEE

CAT 2025 Registration Fee is ₹1300 for SC, ST and PwD candidates.  ₹2600   is the registration fee for  all other candidates  for CAT 2025.

For relaxation on CAT 2025 Registration fees applicants belonging to SC, ST and PwD categories must upload a copy of their SC/ST/PwD certificates at the time of registration. Fees once paid towards CAT 2025 Registration  can not be refunded under any circumstances.

With CAT 2025 scores applicants can also take admission in listed non-IIM member institutions. The list of non-IIM member institutions that have registered to avail of the CAT 2025 scores is provided at www.iimcat.ac.in. However IIMs have no role in the selection process of non-IIM institutions.

The CAT 2025 registration window opens at  10.00 a.m. on 1^st August, 2025 and will close at 5:00 p.m. on 13^th September, 2025.

Before CAT 2025 Registration Check List

Before applicants start registering for CAT 2025, they can look at the following checklist.

1. Applicants should Check eligibility for CAT 2025
2. Applicants should Ensure having a valid and unique email address and mobile number.
3. Scanned images of passport size photo and signature are required for uploading. The photo should not be more than six months old and should have a white background.

CAT Registration 2025 Step 1 : Registration for User ID and Password

Candidate should go to the website, www.iimcat.ac.in and click the ‘Register’ button under New Candidate Registration header to create his/her user profile.

Candidates should submit following details

1. Name of Candidate as printed on 10th/SSC Certificate.
2. Date of Birth
3. Email Address
4. Mobile Number

OTP will be generated To complete the registration process. After verification of OTP Candidates will receive the User ID and Password on the registered email address and or on the registered mobile number. This marks the Confirmation of CAT Registration 2025.

CAT Registration 2025 Step 2: Login to CAT 2025 Website :

Applicant should log in a “Registered Candidate” on the website and fill the Application Form for CAT 2025. Using the system generated User ID and Password received at the completion of Step 1   .

CAT Registration 2025 Step 3 : Fill CAT 2025 Application Form

Candidates should continue filling Application Form into the following 6 sections:

• Personal Details
• Academic Qualifications
• Work Experience
• Programmes
• Test City

At the time of registration, the candidates have to select any six test cities, as per their preference. After the last date of registration, candidates will be allotted one among the six preferred cities subject to availability.

• Payment

General/EWS/NC-OBC category candidates will pay Rs. 2600/- while an SC/ST/PwD candidates will be charged Rs. 1300/- to appear for CAT 2025. The final amount to be paid may be different  depending on CAT 2025 payment partners Bill Desk and PayU.

Candidates should receive Application Confirmation Email stating the successful submission of your CAT 2025 Application. Application Summary will be displayed on CAT website as CAT 2025 Applicant.

CAT 2025 Admit Card Download

The candidates can download the admit cards from 5^th November to 30^th November, 2025. After successful completion of CAT 2025 Registration the candidates receive a confirmation email on additional details such as CAT 2025 Admit Card download.

CAT 2025 Score Card Download

Candidates can download CAT 2025 scorecards from CAT website. The CAT results are likely to be declared by January,2026.
