XAT 2025 : Exam Date, Syllabus, Exam Pattern, Registration Fees

XAT Exam :

XAT is a common test for admission into academic programmes of XLRI. Apart from XLRI The XAT score is being used by more than 1000 + colleges for the admission.

XAT Full Form :

 XAT  is commonly known as Xaviers’ Aptitude Test . It is the entrance test  considered for the admission of twelve renowned XAMI (Xavier Association of Management Institutes) members. The XAMI colleges are the management institutes that come under the Xavier Trust or the Jesuit Society.

Below is the list of the 12 XAMI Members :

Candidates interested in XLRI or any of these XAMI Member Institutes need to apply for the programmes of their choice. Please note that each institution independently decides the weightage to be given for each of the test components on the basis of its need. XLRI does not play any role in selection of the candidates in these institutes for XAT Associate Member Institutes.

XAT 2025  ASSOCIATE MEMBERS :

There are other B schools as well enlisted with XAT while accepting XAT 2025 Scores for admission process.

Eligibility For XAT 2025 :

Candidates must complete Bachelor’s Degree of    minimum three years duration or equivalent  in any discipline from any Recognised University. Students in the final year of Bachelor’s Degree or awaiting their results are also eligible to apply.

XAT Exam Date :

XAT 2025 will be conducted on Sunday, 5^th January, 2025.  

XAT 2025 Exam Centres :

XAT 2025 would be conducted across India in the following cities –

 XAT 2025 Syllabus :

XAT Syllabus 2025 is modified to 4 Sections/subjects instead of 5 :                

Essay Writing has been removed from XAT exam syllabus 2023.

All the 4 Sections on

1. Verbal & Logical Ability
2. Decision Making
3. Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation
4. General Knowledge

General Knowledge will form a single question paper in a single section instead of two different parts without break.

XAT 2025 Exam Pattern :

• The total number of questions as per the XAT exam 2025 will be 95. 
• All questions will be in MCQ Format  
• 75 Questions will be with negative marking
• 20 GK questions will be without negative marking

XAT 2025 Registration Fees :

XAT Registration Fee (without late fee) – Rs. 2200/-

Candidates interested in XLRI programs need to pay an additional fee of Rs. 200/- each.

The payment can be made by using Debit Cards (RuPay / Visa / Master Card / Maestro), Credit Cards,

Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets.

The XAT Result will be declared  3 weeks after the conduct of XAT – 2025. Therefore XAT Results is expected in the 3rd week of January, 2025.
