Maharashtra CET Exam
Maharashtra CET is the common entrance test conducted by State Common Entrance Test
Cell (CET CELL) for admission in to MBA/MMS Course in Various Institutions in Maharashtra.
The institutes approved & recognized by Government of Maharashtra use CET Score for admission. These institutes are affiliated to any of the Non- Agricultural University in Maharashtra State.
MHCET Score is used by the following Institutes/Departments
- All Government of Maharashtra Management Education Institutes
- University Departments of Management Education
- University -managed Management Education Institutes
- All Un-Aided Management Education Institutes covered as per the Act Government of
Maharashtra
Maharashtra Government has established a State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET CELL) under Admission Regulating Authority (ARA) as per the provision in Section 10 of Maharashtra Unaided Private Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admissions and Fees) Act, 2015, (Herein after called the Act). The Competent Authority shall conduct the Online Computer Based Test MH-CET for admission to First Year of Full Time in MBA/MMS Course.
Eligibility for MH CET 2022
Applicant should complete minimum Three-year Duration Bachelor’s Degree awarded by any of the Universities recognised by University Grants Commission or Association of Indian Universities in any discipline. Candidate should score at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent.in Graduation. For candidates belonging to backward class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) or its equivalent the graduation marks cutoff has been lowered to 45%.
Candidates appearing for the final year examination of any Bachelor’s degree to be awarded by any of the Universities recognised by University Grants Commission or Association of Indian Universities in any discipline are also eligible to apply.

MH-CET Examination Fees
The processing fee for MH CET Application form is to be paid through online system
only by Internet Payment, Credit Card/ Debit Card (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets. The service charges, as per rules, shall be applicable in addition to the application form processing fees. No other mode of payment shall be permitted.
This MH CET Application fee is non-refundable and non transferable under any circumstances.

MHT- CET Test Pattern
The test will comprise of multiple choice objective type questions (Five Options)
There is no negative marking System for this test.
Test Duration: 150 Minutes

Maharashtra CET syllabus
Syllabus Of MAH-MBA/MMS-CET is given below-
- A) Logical / Abstract Reasoning section includes questions based on figures and diagrams and
also question on verbal reasoning.This shall include the questions to measure how quickly and accurately student can think.
- B) Quantitative Aptitude section includes questions based on numbers, do numerical calculations, understand various arithmetic problems involving ratio and proportion, percentage, etc. This test also helps to measure skills of solving quantitative reasoning, interpretation of tables, common graphs and charts.This shall include the questions to know how fast and accurate applicant can work.
- C) Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension section includes passages with questions based on their contents to test comprehension. This section contains questions on grammar, vocabulary, sentence completion, synonyms, antonyms, comprehension of passages etc. English language ability can be tested through questions on
- understanding of the contents of the passage and
- choice of appropriate words, phrases, expressions and similar language skills.

Documents required for MAH-CET Online Registration
– Valid mobile number is required for the registration of the user in the system.
– Valid Email ID is required for the registration of the user in the system.
– Scanned copy of the photograph in JPEG/JPG format Max size 50kb. Photograph Dimensions should be breadth 3.5 CMS * height 4.5 CMS
– Scanned copy of signature in JPEG/JPG format Max size 50kb.Photograph Dimensions should be breadth 3.5 CMS * height 1.5 CMS
Steps for MAH-CET Online Application
Step I: New Registration
Candidate should go to registration and link and start registration by giving unique mobile number.
The candidates should first Enter their Full Name (As Printed on SSC/HSC Marksheet) minimum Two (2) words are mandatory, Father’s Name (FIRST NAME ONLY), Mother’s Name (FIRST NAME ONLY), select Gender and confirm the Selected Gender (Both has to be same), Select Marital Status and Date of Birth, Religion, Region,Mother Tongue, Annual Family Income (Optional), and Nationality, etc. All the information needs to be filled correctly. Registration will be complete after activation through OTP.
Step II: Registered Candidates Sign in
After registering online, candidate has to enter the application number generated by system and the chosen password while registering on the login screen and click on the “Sign In” button.
Step III: Domicile and Category Details
If the candidate or one of his parents is domiciled in the State of Maharashtra and possesses a
domicile certificate of Maharashtra then candidate has to select “Yes”. Otherwise the candidate has to select “No” . The candidate should indicate his/her category details as well.
Step IV: Qualification Details
The candidate is asked to fill in the graduation information. Candidate has to Select Graduation passing Year, Graduation Course Duration, Graduation Branch /stream and fill the graduation marks details.
Step V: Exam Center Preferences
Candidate needs to select state for examination Centre from the list of the states and cities.
Step VI: Upload Photo and Signature
The candidate needs to Upload scanned passport size photo and signature as mentioned above in the specified format.
Step VII: Upload Required Document for Proof of Identity
The candidate needs to Upload Required Document for Proof of Identity issued by Government.
Step VIII: Preview and Validate Information
Candidate needs to validate the entered information before proceeding towards final
submissions.
Step IX: Pay Application Fee
Candidate needs to check the details filled in the Application Form carefully before proceeding
towards the Payment. After successful Payment, the Candidate will unable to make any Changes in the Application Form Details.
Step X: Print Application Form
On successful payment of the application fee, a confirmation of the same will be displayed online.
Candidates shall print the receipt for future references. After successful payment, Candidate shall
take the print out of its online application form.
