SNAP EXAM 2024

The  full form of SNAP is Symbiosis National Aptitude Test   (SNAP) conducted by Symbiosis International (Deemed University) [SIU]. SIU is Established under section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956 Re-accredited by NAAC with ‘A++’ Grade Awarded Category – I by UGC.

SNAP is a common  National Level Entrance Test. SNAP is mandatory for the candidates willing to join a Symbiosis MBA programme offered by any Institute of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) [SIU].

 Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP 2024) is a Computer Based Test (CBT)   

With a single test SNAP, MBA aspirant has choice to choose from 29 different MBA Programmes across 17 different Institutes under Symbiosis International (Deemed University) [SIU].

Eligibility criteria for SNAP

Applicant should be Graduate in any stream from any recognised University/ Institution of National Importance and must secure a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade in Graduation. The graduation marks cutoff has further been relaxed till 45% marks or equivalent grade for applicants belonging from Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes category. Applicants appearing for final year graduation examinations can also apply, but their admission will be subject to obtaining a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade in final mark sheet of graduation. (45% or equivalent grade for Scheduled Castes/ Scheduled Tribes).Applicant completing graduation from any Foreign University must obtain an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

SNAP Test  registration fee is of Rs. 2250/- per test . SNAP Test registration fee and programme registration fee of the Institute is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Payment via Online Mode-

Candidate may pay the same on the website for Payment of SNAP Test registration fee.

Payment Through Demand Draft-

Applicant can Submit a Demand Draft (DD) of INR 2250/- per test from any Nationalized Bank in favour of “Symbiosis Test Secretariat” payable at Pune.

Applicant has to Choose the mode of Payment as ‘DD Payment’ in ‘Make Payment’ Tab. Applicant needs to take a print of the payment advice form, fill in the DD Details, sign and send it along with the DD to the Symbiosis Test Secretariat only at,

How to Apply for SNAP

To apply for SNAP candidate has to go through the following steps

Step-I

Applicant must Register for SNAP 2024 Test,

Step-II

Applicant should pay the registration fee for SNAP,

Step-III

Applicant must Register for her/his choice of programme(s) offered by any Institute of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) [SIU].

Step-IV

Applicant must pay the registration fee, separately for each programme under any Institute of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) [SIU].

A candidate can complete the SNAP as well as programme registration under any Institute of Symbiosis International (Deemed University) [SIU](as well as pay the registration fee) on the same portal (snaptest.org).

SNAP TEST 2024 will be conducted on three different dates across different cities. Applicants should  note the test dates and the respective test timings .

IMPORTANT FACTS ABOUT SNAP TEST 2024

• SNAP TEST 2024 will be a computer-based test.

• SNAP TEST 2024 will have Multiple Choice Questions. For Each question there will be four responses. Applicant should choose the correct answer. Each wrong answer attracts 25% negative marks.

• SNAP TEST 2024 will be of One Hour duration( 60 minutes).

• A candidate can appear for a maximum of two tests in SNAP 2024. If a candidate appears for two tests, the   higher score    will be considered for final percentile calculation.

• If shortlisted for a programme applied to, the candidate would then need to participate in the further Symbiosis admission process (GE-PIWAT) of that particular programme.

SNAP 2024  TIME TABLE

 REGISTRATION FOR SNAP 2024 

• Applicants must Register for the SNAP online entrance test online on the website snaptest.org  from23^rd August 2024 to 22^nd  November 2024 . 

• Applicant must Upload your latest scanned colour passport size photo at the time of online registration for SNAP Test. The photograph should not be more than three months old.

• Applicant must ensure that the information given to SNAP Authority is accurate.

• SNAP authority will not entertain any request for a change of test date or test city once the applicant has paid the SNAP TEST 2024 registration fee. Test City and Test Date are allocated on a first come first serve basis. The earlier an applicant pays registration fees, the higher is the chance to obtain a test date and test city as preference of applicant. The Test Centre and its address will be printed on the Admit Card. (The Admit Card will be live on SNAP website  snaptest.org from 2^nd December 2024 till 15^th December 2024).

SHORTLISTING AND SELECTION PROCESS – AFTER SNAP 2024

ENTRANCE TEST

A candidate will be shortlisted for further Symbiosis admission process (GE-PIWAT) based on her/his overall SNAP Percentile. Applicant should check the respective Institute website for information and dates of GE-PIWAT.

The further admission process is conducted separately for each programme by each Institute. The cut-off for shortlisting is also calculated separately for each programme. Based on her/his overall SNAP percentile, a particular applicant may get shortlisted for more than one programme. In such a scenario the candidate is expected to participate in the GE-PIWAT for each programme separately.

 MERIT LIST DECLARATION AND ADMISSION

Merit list will be based on the following parameters:

• SNAP Score

• Group Exercise (GE)

• Personal Interaction(PI)

• Writing Ability Test (WAT

Category-wise cut off for Merit List and Wait List will be displayed on the website of the respective Institutes. Wait list movement depends upon the vacant seats available.

The admission or seat booking done based on merit list is provisional and will be confirmed on payment of fees on or before the due date and subject to fulfilment of eligibility conditions of the respective programme(s) and in accordance with the rules of the SIU.

When will the SNAP Exam be conducted?
