IIFT Exam

 Indian Institute of Foreign Trade  commonly known as IIFT organises a MBA Entrance Exam for admission to its flagship MBA(IB) Program which will have a total intake of more than   570 seats in 2022 in its 3 campuses  namely Delhi,Kolkata & Kakinada.

The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) was established in 1963 as an autonomous body under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry9Government of India) .IIFT was granted “Deemed to be University” status in 2002. NAAC ( National Assessment and Accreditation Council) has recognized IIFT as Grade ‘A’ Institution in 2005 as well as in 2015.

IIFT MBA (2023-2025)

MBA (International Business), flagship programme of IIFT, is a six-trimester general management programme with a focus on International Business for developing a competent cadre of business executives to meet the country’s growing requirements for trained personnel in the field of International Business Management.

IIFT EXAM DATE 

IIFT Entrance Exam for MBA(IB) 2023-25 Batch is going to be held on   18th December Sunday 2022(10 am – 12 noon) .  The entrance exam will be conducted by National Testing Agency(NTA) & it will be a computer based test for 2 hours.

The last date of IIFT registration & application is 14^th November 2022 & the registration fee is Rs.2500 for General candidates & Rs.1250 for SC/ST/PWD candidates. For Foreign nationals & NRI candidates it is 200 $.

You have to apply online at https://iift.nta.nic.in. Anyone can get a complete details of the exam registration & application in the following website. IIFT exam will be conducted at more than 68 cities in India. Any applicant can choose 4 cities in order of preference. Every year more than fifty thousand students appear for IIFT entrance exams.

The exam notification was released on   30th September 2022  & the registration process started from  30th September 2022  . The registration process is completely online & the link is available at https://iift.nta.nic.in.

Eligibility Criteria for IIFT Exam 2023

1. Candidates should have a bachelor’s Degree of minimum 3 years of duration in any discipline & equivalent from a recognised university.
2. General category candidates should have scored 50% marks in Graduation in aggregate & 45% in Graduation in aggregate for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD.
3. Candidates who are in their final year of graduation in 2023 can also apply. Th admission of such candidates will be done on probation basis & such candidates have to submit the final year degree by the time limit as mentioned by IIFT failing which their admission will be cancelled.

IIFT 2023 Registration Fees

For General Category and OBC Candidates the Registration Fees for IIFT 2023 is Rs.2500/- only. For SC,ST Category Students the application fee is Rs.1250/- only.

IIFT 2023 Results

IIFT 2023 Result Announcement Date has not clearly been mentioned on NTA Website. It will probably be published on  4th week of December 2022.  

Exam Pattern of IIFT

IIFT 2023 syllabus contains 4 Sections

1. Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension : 35 nos. questions with 3 marks each.
2. Quantitative Analysis : 25 nos. questions with 1.5 marks each.
3. Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning : 30 nos. questions with 3 marks each.
4. General Awareness : 25 nos. questions with 3 marks each.

IIFT  Result 2023 Merit list and Admission Process

Post result publication of IIFT 2023 the candidates have to undergo the following steps.

1. Candidates first have to clear the cut offs as mentioned by IIFT.
2. Then they are called for Essay Writing & Group Discussions round.
3. The final round is Personal Interview in major cities in India .
